Dr. Hai Nguyen

Dr. Nguyen received his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 1996.  He finished his final year of dental school in the top three of his class.  He then completed a General Practice Residency at the U of A in 1997 prior to pursuing general practice.  Since 1997, in addition to general practice, Dr. Nguyen had served as part-time clinical instructor in various disciplines including Operative Dentistry, Pedodontics and Removable Prosthdontics at the U of A Dental School.  He had also served as part-time supervisor at NAIT for the Dental Assisting Program.  In addition to providing conscientious, ethical and quality dental care to new and existing patients of Smile Dental, Dr. Nguyen stays active within organized dentistry by serving as board member and treasurer for a dental society.  Dr. Nguyen has been happily married since 1999 and has two young children.  In his spare time, he enjoys travel, classical music, photography and is a holder of a 1st degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do.
